Pumping stations
Pumping equipment in the oil and gas industry
Description and purpose
Pumping stations are one of the key products manufactured by Automation-Metrology-EXPERT LLC. Pumping stations are used in many sectors of the national economy. Pumping equipment is particularly widespread in the oil and gas industry. The working media of the pumping stations manufactured by the company include crude and marketable oil, formation and technical (fresh) water (including for firefighting needs), chemical reagents (corrosion, scale and hydrate inhibitors, demulsifiers), foaming agent solutions, hydrocarbon condensate, and various heat transfer media and refrigerants.
Pumping stations are a set of process equipment supplied on a frame base or in a modular design. The modular architecture allows the unit to be scaled up, increasing head and flow performance through the use of additional modules (booster pump modules, additional pump modules connected in parallel). Such solutions are relevant where construction is carried out in several phases, in order to optimize capital costs.
The process equipment is selected based on the Customer's technical requirements, operating conditions and the physical and chemical characteristics of the pumped medium.
The pumping station automation system ensures safe operation, automatic maintenance of the specified operating mode, and also allows changes to be made on the operator's command.
Pumping station scope of supply
The pumping station scope of supply includes:
- Block box consisting of a frame base and wall and roof enclosures made of non-combustible sandwich panels with basalt filler; A pumping station version without a shelter block is also available, for placement indoors at the customer's site or outdoors / under a canopy
- Pump units with electric motors on a common frame. Pump drives can be of either general industrial or explosion-proof design. Soft starters and variable frequency drives can be used to reduce starting currents and to control the motor shaft rotation speed
- Tank and filtration equipment
- Process and auxiliary pipelines
- Shut-off, control and safety valves
- Instrumentation and control (I&C) equipment
- Electrical equipment and materials (cable products, junction boxes, control posts, cable glands, cable support systems, etc.)
- Life support system (heating system, ventilation, water supply, sewerage, lighting system, security and fire alarm system, gas detection system, communication system, fire extinguishing system and primary firefighting equipment)
- Roll-out devices and lifting equipment for dismantling process equipment
- Stairs and maintenance platforms
- Cabinet and panel equipment (main distribution board, automation system, etc.)
- Spare parts kit for the period of commissioning, installation supervision and the warranty period of operation
All equipment is manufactured in accordance with the norms and rules adopted in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Climatic design of the equipment: from -60 to +50 °C
