LK series

MVI LK-series programmable logic controllers​

LK — a universal controller with a high degree of integration, used as the main control unit for medium and large automation systems.
High reliability, speed and performance allow the LK series to be used in all industries requiring automation and control of production processes (including continuous ones).
MVI series LK PLCs are used in various application scenarios: control of complex machines, drives, production lines and process units, metro and railway lines, purification, dosing and measurement systems, control of energy processes, control of high-precision equipment, etc.

The controller and the external redundant I/O module form redundant control systems with data acquisition, logic computations, setting and execution of actions, human interaction with
a computer, data exchange and other functions for implementing automation and intelligent support.

High reliability

  • The redundancy system with a dual backplane includes: power supply redundancy, controller redundancy and network redundancy.
  • In redundancy mode, the system can operate when a fault occurs.
  • Operating temperature range: from -40°C to +70°C.

High speed

  • The maximum redundancy switchover time is 130 ms.
  • The minimum task scheduling time is less than 100 µs.
  • The maximum system response time in a cycle is less than 200 ms.

High scalability

  • Ability to add up to 122 pairs of control stations to the same network segment.
  • In a network with a single DP, you can add 116 slave I/O devices.
  • The I/O capacity supported by the system exceeds 10,000 I/O points.
  • Support for Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus DP, Powerlink, Ethernet and HOLLITCP protocols.

Ease of maintenance

  • An event log tool that can record alarms, accidents, faults and other information in more than 10,000 events. You can accordingly obtain diagnostic information on each module via the libraries: "Module Information Instructions" and "System Status Instructions".
  • Each module is hot-swappable.
  • System updates via an SD card or AutoThink software.
  • Compatibility with all LK I/O modules.

Operation in harsh environments

  • Operating temperature from -20℃ to +70℃.
  • Storage temperature from -40℃ to +80℃.
  • Printed circuit boards with conformal coating.
  • Complies with electromagnetic compatibility standards (IEC 61000-4/IEC 61131-2).
